INDIVIDUAL THERAPY for adults and adolescents (16+), individual support in the following areas:
I welcome individuals with any gender identity, sexuality, race, ethnicity, country of origin, documentation status, neurotype, and abilities. I acknowledge the disparities in access to mental health care, and disparity in other institutions. I strive to offer a safe and inclusive space that is trauma-informed, accessible, and culturally-sensitive.
IN PERSON
The Soquel office is conveniently located close to Hwy 1. I welcome service dogs, so if you have an allergy, teletherapy might me a better fit. My office is on the second floor and the building does not have an elevator.
I will soon offer sessions in person in Los Gatos.
TELETHERAPY
I am available to clients throughout the state of California on my confidential teletherapy platform (via audio/phone or video). This is a wonderful option for many clients, and preferred by some due to various life circumstances (transportation, accessibility, time restrictions, travel, or out of the area). Audio/phone sessions work well when there is a situational need, technology or device issue, or if this is the preferred communication style.
DIAGNOSIS/ASSESSMENT
I do not offer formal assessment or diagnosis of Autism or ADHD, but I support clients to determine if they would like to seek a formal diagnosis. I can provide referrals and resources. Formal assessment and diagnosis can be the right fit for many, especially if there is a need for additional support services, psychiatric services, or formal accommodations in daily living, schooling, or employment.
PAYMENT (due on day of service)
CANCELLATION POLICY: I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Sessions are charged in full if a cancellation is made within 24 hours, or if the client does not show up for session.
INSURANCE
For out of network coverage (your insurance coverage is not listed above), I can provide a super-bill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Please note that there are limitations to using insurance. In order to receive coverage by your insurance company you must meet medical necessity for services and a mental health diagnosis. Services and records are subject to review by your insurance company.
"No Surprises Act"
Beginning January 1, 2022, if you’re uninsured or don’t plan to submit your claim to your health plan, health care providers and facilities must provide you with a “good faith estimate” of expected charges before you get an item or service. The good faith estimate isn’t a bill. It is to protect you from unexpected medical fees. I will provide you with a good faith estimate if you ask for one. It will include expected charges for the primary service you’re getting, and an estimated cost of treatment.
