About Me

My name is Felice Hensley and I am a licensed therapist in California.  I look forward to working with you.  I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz, and my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sonoma State University.

I am committed to providing a safe space for my clients, and honored to guide this process.  My drive to support others has been influenced by my personal and professional experiences as a neurodivergent therapist.  I am proud to focus on offering a neurodiversity- affirming therapy space that is authentic, flexible, compassionate, and strength-based.  

Outside of the therapy room, I love to spend time in nature,  in the garden, at the beach, and hiking with my pup.  I find joy in cooking, abstract painting, soaking in my favorite subjects, building/upcycling and refurbishing things, body-based practices like dance, yoga, and other forms of movement.  

• Group psychotherapy practice, Monterey County: Mental health support for individuals of all ages, focused on neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, intellectual and learning differences, and other).

• Community Mental Health Clinic in Mendocino County.  Provided strength-based and trauma-informed therapy for children, youth, and families. 

• Mental health counseling for justice involved youth

• School-based mental health services (middle -school, high-school, alternative education programs, and young parenting program)

• Dependency Legal Services, Investigative reporting and advocacy for minors in Foster Care.
