About Me

My name is Felice Hensley and I am a licensed therapist in California.  I look forward to working with you.  I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sonoma State University.   

I love to spend time in nature, in my garden, at the beach, or hiking with my dog.  I find joy in cooking, painting, soaking in my favorite subjects, building/upcycling and refurbishing things, body-based practices like yoga, dance, and other forms of movement.  These are a few of the things in my personal wellness "tool-kit".  

I am deeply committed to my personal and professional growth.  My passion to support others is influenced by my experiences in and out of the therapy room.  I am proud to focus on offering a neurodiversity- affirming therapy space that is flexible, compassionate, and strength-based.  

• Group psychotherapy practice, Monterey County: Mental health support for individuals of all ages, focused on neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, and other diagnoses).

• Community Mental Health Clinic in Mendocino County.  Provided strength-based and trauma-informed therapy for children, youth, and families. 

• Mental health counseling for justice involved youth

• School-based mental health services (middle -school, high-school, alternative education programs, and young parenting program)

• Dependency Legal Services, Investigative reporting and advocacy for minors in Foster Care.
